One of the hottest bands in TEXAS and LOUISIANA, GRUPO SONCACHE generates energy and excitement everywhere they perform. This dynamic band is composed of five to six very talented musicians: two or three lead vocalists, a full rhythm section: timbales, congas, bongo/campana (cowbell), gûira & tambora, accompanied by high quality pre-recorded midi sequences. Covering genres like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia & Reggaeton, GRUPO SONCACHE does it all!
GRUPO SONCACHE has experience in clubs, weddings, quinceañeros, birthday parties, private activities, festivals and large corporate and social events. We will work with you well before your event date to understand your preferences and plan just the right music for your celebration.
GRUPO SONCACHE was organized by band leader Juan Carlos “Chago” Santiago in January of 2006. SONCACHE has opened for a variety of well known bands like GRUPO MANIA, EDDIE SANTIAGO, ANTHONY (LA MAKINA), CANO ESTREMERA, among others. The group accompanied salsa singer and Grammy Award Winner ANTHONY CRUZ in several occasions in the year 2011 including the Anthony's presentation with both ANTHONY CRUZ and ANTHONY COLON. Most recently Soncache accompanied Mr. PAQUITO ACOSTA, former singer for over 20 years of the very well known "PRIMERISIMA ORQUESTA DE TOMMY OLIVENCIA". The band is based out of Killeen, TX, with most of the musicians being actively or retired from the Armed Forces.
